Mr McDonald had no previous martial arts training, coming from a Rugby and Weightlifting  background. 

After watching a WTSD class decided to join in and has never looked back. The whole of Mr McDonald's family train at RTSD with his two sons being 2nd & 1st DANS and his wife at 3rd Gup. The WTSDA has brought many high points for Mr McDonald over the years including regional, British and European Trophies. Northern Grand Champion title 2007.

Apart from the competitions, Mr McDonald is a fully qualified 2nd Dan WTSDA instructor and instructor for Romford TSD.
